Enterprise 2.0 – Activity2

Sharing what you though/opinion is not that hard using a blog (:

This is my first blog I have ever made which is a new experience and I find it very interesting. At the moment I still find it really hard to browse around the site, make comments, add posts, however, I believe it will get easier after I have more experience on it.

I believe blogging is a useful tool because:

  1. Blogs can be an excellent way of sharing knowledge within the organization.
  2. Blogs can be a positive way of getting feedback, comments, and keeping your finger on the pulse, as readers react to certain pieces, suggest story ideas, though, opinion, etc.
  3. Blogs can build the profile of the writer (create your own identification).

Blogging will be useful for me because it will bring a way to be in touch with my other class mate and learn about their experience or opinion about a particular topic especially about this unit – INB346, Enterprise 2.0. I believe it will also allow me to know and make new friend around the world. Moreover, I agree with one of my classmate, Alex, that  it will be really useful later on in our life due to perusing a job in the I.T industry.

A very good example of how blogging is a great tool is looking up the Sacha Chua’s blog. Her blog is really interesting and show how she manage and use her blog to transmit her though or opinion about a particular topic. As well, it shows how a good blog would turn up into a really good source to get information about any topic.

I believe the following links are interesting in the area of web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0

True this subject will introduce us to blogging which may help us in our future IT careers. I myself hope to introduce some blogging into my workplace after this subject. The first step as Anthony said is to build up your profile. It may take a while but will be largely rewarding later down the track.
